Lisa McCrory is a systems thinker with an interest in a 'Whole Farm Approach' to land and livestock stewardship. She has been involved in Regenerative, Organic, and Biodynamic agriculture for over 30 years.
Carl Russell has operated Russell Forestry Services since 1986, specializing in ecological forestry and low-impact timber harvest with draft animals.
ON-FARM EDUCATION
Classes, Internships, WWOOFing
We offer classes throughout the calendar year, covering topics that include: Butter, Cheese & Yogurt Making; Spiritual Gardening - Dowsing & Agriculture; Management Intensive Grazing; and Having a Family Cow.
Other ways to learn on our farm include internship stays or scheduling time as a WWOOFER (Willing Workers On Organic Farms).
FARM FRESH GOODNESS
Organic Raw Milk, Organic Chicken, Organic Heritage Turkey, Organic Muscovy Duck, Organic Beef, Organic Vegetables, Organic Garlic, Organic Flowers, Pastured Pork Veggies, Pastured Eggs, Preserves & Crafts!
We have a small farm store and often have it stocked with products for sale. We are happy to take orders so that your groceries are waiting for you when you arrive.
About Us
Earthwise Farm and Forest is a certified organic, draft-animal powered homestead farm located in Bethel, Vermont, and is operated by Carl Russell and Lisa McCrory.
Our mission is to grow healthy, vibrant, food and forest products for our customers and ourselves by following the principles of Holistic Management and applying Regenerative, Biodynamic, and Organic practices.
Products for sale include certified organic Raw Milk, poultry (Chicken, Duck and Heritage Turkey), Beef, Garlic, Vegetables, Flowers, and non-organic (though GMO-Free) eggs, Pastured Pork, maple syrup, Preserves, Holiday Wreaths, and Lisa's Joyful Pottery.
We offer Educational Workshops throughout the calendar year covering topics that include: Butter, Yogurt & Cheese Making, Dowsing & Agriculture, Caring for Your Family Cow & Calf, and Management Intensive Grazing.
