Experience Hand-Milking a Cow!

Description: Interested in hand milking a cow? Curious to find out what daily feeding and milking looks like on our Homestead Farm? Join us for a morning or afternoon of setting up pasture (their daily feed ration), and milking a cow by hand. Visitors get an opportunity to hand milk a cow, groom & pet the cow & calf, and bottle-feed a calf! Great conversations are sure to abound during this special event. Available mid July - early November

Estimated Time & Cost: 60-90 memorable minutes.  $50-$75 sliding scale per individual, $125 - 150 per group.

Other Experiences: available for private groups

1) Butter, Yogurt & Cheese Making  Class (about 3 hours long)... or 1.5 hours if we focus on just one 

2) Learn how to Dowse! Whether for water or  just to get acquainted to the dowsing tools and learn some of the many ways we can apply our dowsing to our lives. (1.5 - 3 hours depending)

Description:

Have fun in the kitchen with Farm Fresh Raw Milk!

Learn a few different ways to make yogurt - successfully and consistently.Get introduced to a couple different soft cheeses that are easy and fun to make. Learn the tricks for making delicious butter and using butter molds.

Learn in an intimate setting with a small group; get ready to laugh and taste some delicious creations.

 

Class will include a handout. Cheese cultures, yogurt cultures, citric acid, butter muslin cloth and organic grass-fed  raw milk will be for sale, so you can start creating delicious treats for friends and family right away.

Connecting to the Land & Self through 

Dowsing, Reiki, and Shamanic Practices

Dowsing Definition: The search for information by means of a hand-held instrument and faculties beyond the 5 physical senses.

Throughout the calendar year, we offer classes and private sessions that open portals into unseen worlds for the participant(s) to experience and explore.

Classes:

• 1)  Intuitive Spiritual Gardening Through Dowsing  - Spiritual Gardening mixes spirituality, planetary influences, personal connection with the natural world and dowsing all into one! It gives us an opportunity to be a co-creator with other earthly beings by opening ourselves up to a higher vibrational consciousness to innovate and play! 

• 2) Dowsing, Spirituality, and the Labyrinth - Next Class TBD Experience walking a Labyrinth and learn how to design one for yourself using your dowsing tools and exercises to connect with your 'helpers'. 

• 3) Basic to Intermediate Dowsing Workshop with Steve Herbert.  - This full day class, taught by Steve Herbert, will take you deeper into the world of dowsing, where participants will work on dowsing accuracy, finding potable water (for your personal well), and will introduce participants to Geomancy, Dowsing & Agriculture, map dowsing, and more. 

• 4) Earth Energy Dowsing with Steve Herbert - Sunday, July 12., 2026  Energy zones of various types are a natural phenomenon upon the earth which have been recognized among many diverse cultures over thousands of years, and very likely stretching back into prehistory. In this workshop, attendees will learn to determine the types of negative and positive zones present on their property, plot those zones on the map, and employ methods to enhance or reduce the impact of said energy zones.
