'Desire is the beginning of

all new Creation...'

'...And once you align with your desire, the Energy that creates worlds will flow through you...which means enthusiasm and passion and triumph. That is your destiny.' (A. Hicks)

It is hard not to be excited about VT Senator Bernie Sanders and his Presidential Campaign. His clear message, solid track record on important issues, and the groundswell of support from the masses is intoxicating. We have carved a few pumpkins with his 'Feel The Bern' message and are going to create a few pieces of 'message' pottery as some of the ways we can show our support and add a some politics to our Food and Art.

Activities on the Farm

Food is being harvested, livestock are grazing on their last month (or so) of pasture, gardens are being put to bed, garlic beds are getting prepped for planting, the final cords of firewood are making their way to the wood shed, and on-farm workshops are being held, allowing us to share what we are learning and make connections with more and more people in our community. Our products for sale are listed at the bottom of this email.... so Keep Reading!

Carl Russell, through his forestry business, Russell Forestry Services (RFS), is pleased to announce that RFS is the United States representative for sales of the Sv5 wagon, a multipurpose wagon designed and manufactured by a Swedish Manufacturer, Österby Smedja. This wagon is intended primarily for forest work, but can also be used as a working wagon with a bed.

Österby Smedja's goal is to produce the best equipment you ever can find for working horses. Russell Forestry Services took delivery of its first Sv5 in mid September. It was exhibited at the 2015 Draft Animal Power Field Days where it was put it through its paces in the woodland demonstrations. RFS is very pleased and excited to expand opportunities for horselogging with the use of this high quality equipment and will be using it regularly in the forestry operations at Earthwise Farm & Forest. We are happy to entertain anyone with interest in seeing the wagon under load. To make arrangements: earthwise@hughes.net, phone: 802-234-5524 (home office) or 802-353-1086 (cell).
